Weekly link Roundup for the week of July 23rd
July 27th, 2007 by Dustin Brewer
It’s been a hectic week for me, I’m sure the lack of articles portrays that pretty good. I am just glad that I have rearranged things so I can find time to focus on things like this. At any rate, I have a great collection of links from around the web today. First off I read a great article from Sitepoint this week about Microformats and getting meaning out of your markup. From the article,
Microformats are all about representing semantic information encoded within a web page, allowing that information to be leveraged in ways that were possibly never conceived by the original publisher.
All in all a great article and something that I am definitely an advocate for standards and semantics in design they are impossibly important.I have another good link from the guys over at Freelance Switch, one of my favorite Freelance blogs about managing your daily work flow and how building up your queue can be very problematic. The article offers suggestions in organizing all of it to be more productive.
My last little link is not an article like I typically offer on Fridays but a new inspiration web site from Eden Creative. The site has a nice clean layout and has categories of designs ranging from Logos, Web sites, Flash sites and business cards. It is all based on a little user interaction to fave up a design that you like to make it higher in the list. Overall I like the style they have created for it and how usable the site is to find a little inspiration worth your click.
Thats all I got from around the web for this week, I’ll probably have an article or two that I am working on posted over the weekend. If anyone has some articles they want to share with the world through this medium email me throughout the week on my contact form or simple email me at dustin@ and I will post articles that are on topic and need to be shared.
