New design is here and new plan coming
Posted on Sunday, July 8th, 2007 under blogging, site update by Dustin Brewer.I decided not to make a sneak preview and that I would go ahead and just implement a new design rather then waste my time making the preview. The new design will be an ongoing project and I will try to keep the layout the same so that everyone can navigate the site easily.
A few quick things about the new web site design, first the site is XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant and works on IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari and Opera all the same way. Which is always a little frustrating at times. Also I will be adding new features as I go along and sometime this following week I will setup a post schedule and have a page dedicated to displaying when what posts are going to be added. Some of the ideas for this include a weekly link roundup, a weekly design article that will be anything from better ways to manage your CSS to methods to design better.
I also was thinking about doing a weekly posting on ways to improve your design/cutup time by using various shortcuts or extensions that may help you in the short term or long term.
I am not really sure what all will be included and I may try to do extras. But right now I am hoping to post at least 3 articles every week. I know I have only been posting every month or so lately but I am ready to get back into the swing of things and start working on my own site rather then clients sites (which I obviously can’t and won’t stop doing).
At any rate, post in the comments ideas you may have for types of articles you would like to see or weekly article themes you would want to read.

I like the new design, it is very clean and efficient. I would like to seesome lists of various different types of useful design stuff as an articlepost weekly. eg: color theory, freelance resources, css tricks, etc
