File sharing service Upload Robots Giveaway and Review
Posted on Sunday, October 25th, 2009 under Giveaway by Dustin Brewer.I was contacted by the owner of Upload Robots, Nick Cammarata, about a great alternative to Dropbox or Rapidshare. I took a look at the system and it is incredibly well designed and ridiculously easy to use. Not to mention the site doesn’t have all the crappy advertising that sites like Rapidshare currently have. They have a really nice demo video you can take a look at that really explains how easy, and well designed the user interface is for the system.
The simple to use interface is coupled with a really nice free plan that allows you to have up to 4GB of space (through unlimited files) on their system without having to upgrade to the Pro plan. The Pro plan, however, comes with the ability to have unlimited space and easily share the files. Which is ideal for freelancers or even agencies that may need to share files with each other or even with clients.
I’m pretty sure the biggest advantage to the system I currently see is how simple it is to use and how beautifully designed the interface is. The only disadvantage is they don’t currently have a Desktop app to combine with the service’s ease-of-use. I’m sure it is in the works though.

I am also a big fan and user of dropbox but have absolutely loved how easy upload robots has made it to share files with friends and classmates. One of my classes needed a way to share files so I suggested upload robots and now everyone uses it and loves it. : ) Amazingly easy to use and well designed.
