for border on only 3 sides you can us this

.class {border:solid #FF0000; border-width:0 1px 1px;}

instead of writing

.class {border-left:1px solid #FF0000; border-right:1px solid #FF0000; border-bottom:1px solid #FF0000;}

for border left, right & bottom

Thanks for the helpful css guide, I didn’t realize that you could do this with css either. this will save me a ton of time trying to type out all of the long selectors that i type. it will help a lot with updating also.

That doesn’t make any sense, not only is it not possible to automatically generate your CSS because every design is going to be different but you are just making shit up.

Sounds like you are using hard-coded tables if you don’t have to use CSS.

i dont like the shorthand notation
but in fact, i dont even use hard-coded css anymore

I use a pseudo language that sets the properties and generates the css as needed.
