The Graphic Avenger, a superhero for graphic designers

This is a hilarious skit that was performed by Brian Mays from brianleonmays.com, a graphic designer. This scene will seem vaguely familiar for all of us that have had to deal with clients or over zealous bosses that think they can do graphic design for the graphic designer. (more…)

Back from the holidays

Well I’m sure everyone has been curious to the status of the web site, hoping that it wasn’t just a short lived test for content. Well it isn’t and I fully intend on continuing the site as long as everyone continues to visit it.

The holidays went well for me, got lots of gifts and gave even more. I actually spent the week leading up to Christmas on a cruise ship in Cozumel and Calica which was a blast. I think that all holidays should be spent somewhere close to the equator. There is nothing like crystal clear waters and beautiful white sandy beaches to bring out the Christmas spirit. Tequila helps also.

At any rate, I have an article detailing Copyright law that I’m working on which will be coming up in the next week. I also plan to write an article taking a look at design in 2006 and what to expect in 2007. Plus the usual design and marketing tips, tricks and tutorials. So keep coming back and expect a lot from me in 2007.

Welcome to the redesign and rebranding of dustin brewer.com

This is the new site for dustin brewer, it has been a long time coming but it is finally here. If you are looking for solid technology news you can find it all on tech filter now. This web site is to become my personal design web site where I will talk about web design, graphic design, marketing, SEO and programming. I will be offering tutorials, tips and lots of tricks for everyone to use in the IT industry.

Mostly I will be putting focus on the design aspect and on SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but I will of course branch off into other topics as the web site progresses into whatever it becomes. I will also have guest speakers on the web site who will provide various other opinions and perspectives of the design and marketing industries.

So keep coming back here if any of that sounds remotely interesting. I will try to post as often as possible, I would like to guarantee a new article or two every day but due to other projects and my life outside of the interwebs it will be difficult to ensure that schedule. So I will for now only guarantee that there will be at least 2-3 posts per a week on the site. The posts of course will be pretty long but full of useful information on the topic in which I discuss.

Thanks to everyone for your continued loyalty to this site, I will have more stuff coming soon and would appreciate any questions or comments you may wish to leave.
