About Dustin Brewer

My name is Dustin Brewer and I have been designing websites for the better part of the past 8 years or so. I have created hundreds of sites for myself over that time which has allowed me a bit of creativity in trying out just about every aspect of the field.

For the past 6 years or so I have been doing Freelance design in my spare time (which can be next to nothing) and have enjoyed creating web sites for all of my clients that I have had over the years. I have dabbled a bit into print design as well when the occasional client will request it.

I am a strong advocate of web standards and accessibility on the web. I strive to ensure that my sites and the sites I create for clients are as accessible as technology permits. I also am a big advocate of usability and ensuring that the best possible methods of guiding a user through a site are used. It is impossibly important to ensure that users are able to easily navigate through a site without getting lost or not finding the information they are seeking.

I now focus most of my time in to my design career and recently left a company called Element Fusion for a local Ad Agency called Back40 Design. I enjoy nearly every aspect of the web design field and do my best to portray that in my writing.

For the past year it has been solely a web design news, css tricks and search marketing blog. I will write about anything related to the field from design principles, web development best practices to design theory. It just depends on my mood but I will strive to always provide interesting web design stuff for all of my readers.

Dustin Brewer.
